    Which meal plan?

I'm going to the world in January and I think we (my wife and I), will be able to get the Restaurants we want. Like le cellier and so forth. The way I see it coming to 40 dollars a day to hit the regular meal plan should be easy especially if you throw in a few buffets. But my question is how hard is it to get enough good table service meals to justify the deluxe plan?

That is really up to you on making the ADRs, then spending the time commuting to and from the different restaurants and the time spent at two TS restaurants per day. If you are willing to spend the time possibly leaving the park twice a day for high-end TS meals, then it should work out.

    Re: Which meal plan?

It was too much work for my group the last time we went to do the Deluxe Dining Plan. We stuck with the regular plan and did just fine, we got all the ADR'S we wanted and had a good variety of quick service meals on top of it. I don't mind planning one table service meal per day but more than that seems like more of a hassle than a perk to me. Good Luck!

    Re: Which meal plan?

We love a nice and quiet sit down meal once everyday. Our pace is slow and leisurely as it is just me and my hubby. We make our reservations 180days out beccause we go in the fall and springtime, but you should be ok going in the winter. Planning is very important to make it work. Multiple sit downs may take up too much time per day.
LeCellier was wonderful, but I really liked the resturant on top of the Contempary resort. The food was awesome, and we went outdoors to watch the fireworks. A very different take on the whole scene.

    Re: Which meal plan?

We decided to go with the standard meal plan. We came up with tons of restaurants but figured that the single sit down will be fine. I'll try to remember to post the whole list of our restaurants when I get home but the ones off the top of my head are as follows.
    le cellier
    beirgarten
    mama melrose's
    The Wave
    Flying fish.

Good choice! We did the deluxe plan on our last trip and, not only were we stuffed 24/7, it took up waaay too much of our valuable park time!

We did the standard plan and it worked out just fine for us. We went to the TS meals in the evening when we wrapped up the parks

    Re: Which meal plan?

Meal plan figured out but I have another question that I dont want ot start a new thread for. What is the website for making the ADR's I cant seem to find it easily. Also I assume I dont need to have any of my room reservations done when MY 180 day ADR window opens correct?

Call (407) 939-3463 and you can speak to a representative. It's a lot easier because they can guide you in the right direction as far as ADR's. I'm not sure about the room reservations though, try (407)934-7639. That's for the room reservations. All the reps are VERY helpful!

We went with the standard plan and it was plenty of food and the sit down service once a day worked well for us. I've never been to the wave and I'm curious, let us know how you liked it.
It's kind of fun to do the impossible!

Will do, you'll just have to wait 7 months for a review
