Changing the ADR party size from 4 to 6

We are booked for Le Cellier for Thanksgiving dinner for a party of 4. It now turns out that we are going to be a party of 6. Can we change this res? Do I call and talk to someone or just show up with all 6 of us?

    thanks

What did they recommend when you called 407-WDW-DINE? They're the pros. If you haven't called yet, why would you not? Showing up with extra people doesn't sound like a very good idea.
Really, Walt? Disneyland is MY land? Why would I want a silly little land when I can have the WORLD.

I have heard stories of people showing up with a few more at Le Cellier and it working out, but I don't know if I'd risk it. If I were you, I would keep the current reservation and just keep trying to get either another one for 6 or add just another reservation for 2 near that time and see if they will combine them. I would try the online reservation system first thing everyday (maybe even multiple times a day) If all else fails, show up with the extra people, just have a contingency plan in place in case they won't take the extra 2. But I WOULD NOT cancel that reservation until you have something else in stone as you might never be able to get it again.

Just called them and they said that they can't add two more. Good idea. I think that we will get a backup res and try showing up with 6 and see what happens. Or the other two can just take my kids and leave me and my wife to have dinner. Like that will happen.

Also, just keep trying to get a new reservation for 6 (or for 4 and 2) online. It probably won't be at the same time, but stuff opens up. I got a Le Cellier ressie a week out just by trying again and again.

If all else fails, stick with your plan and show up with 6.
