Everything they say is lies! The food was so bad there! My dad got a burger with dried up lettuce! It was wilting and brown. The chicken nuggets made my aunt SICK! And, although it has bad food, it does have pretty cool abc props. For example, Ty's Megaphone from Extreme Makeover:Home Edition is there. Just don't eat there. PLEASE DON'T! Next time you need a fast eat, go to Pizza Planet, or Si-fi Dinner. Hey, at least it's better than eatin nuggets that make you throw up.

My family & I always go to ABC commissary for lunch when we're at DHS. We have never had a problem with the food there; in fact we prefer it to Pizza Planet and the other counter service restaurants because the food seems better, there is better choice and it seems less fast food.

I'm sorry you seem to have had a bad experience but I think trying to put people off the restaurant is a bit wrong. I mean everyone has their own opinions, like we have had problems (illness) at the Sci-Fi diner and after the Hoop de Doo review. But we just brush it off.

Also you cant blame your aunt's illness on just the food; your in Disney so it will probably be down to too much sun, and too little water.

I suggest just trying out other places but dnt go putting people off when they need to try it out for themselves, even though you may have had one bad experience

I agree with tdf192. My brother ate there when he went with our school's band in fact many of the kids went there. They all said it was really good. I find that some times I get bad lettuce at some of the restaurant. I just pick it off and blow it off. There is always a bad piece of lettuce in a bag.

They have never gotten the quick service thing right at the Studio's.

The food at the ABC Commissary may not be the best, but I don't think its horrible. The chicken and rice dish that I got there last time was quite good.

Hmm... well, based on comments it seems hit or miss at the very least. What quick service places at the studios would you recommend? We have a late lunch reservation for Sci-Fi when we go, but we probably will need to eat some sort of dinner later on. I've only ever eaten at Pizza Planet (which I've always liked well enough).

Well as I said I've never had a problem with the ABC commissary over the last 15 years; but I agree with HauntedGabe DHS dont seem to have got Counter service quite right.

IMO the commissary if fine, but if you dnt fancy trying it then the Backlot Express is ok for what it is, they do a good chili dog

In all my times I've been to Disney World, which is probably close to 10 now, I have never been to the ABC Commissary. I also feel like im not really missing much

For QS at the Studios, we like sandwiches at Starring Rolls and the Backlot Express... not much of a fan of the ABC Commissary.

the one time i ate there.. it was ok.. i dont remember being awesome.. but i dont remember anything being wrong.. the other time we ate in hollywood studios we ate at pizza planet.. my only problem there was it was super duper crowded!!

A great dinner place is Mama Melrose. It's FABULOUS! Make reservations for there its' very yummy. :P
