Artist Pointe hands down!
Okay It's me again back with another question for a trip I'm not sure I'm going on yet. I'm trying to decided where the best place is to have a nice 22nd birthday dinner at, I was thinking California Grill or Artist Point but don't really want to dress up really formal one reason is we will be traveling alot and it will be awhile from when I pack to when my formal ware would be hung up and another, I hate dressing up. So I need some suggestions to where a good informal yet mature place to eat for my 22nd birthday dinner. Thanks again and I hope this isn't to confusing

Artist Pointe hands down!
Both are good choices, but I guess it depends on your definition of "dressing up". Of the two, Artist's Point is more casual. Don't count out Jiko, however.

What will you celebrate?
Adult daycare for the kid inside you.
I love Artist Point. One of my favorite places to eat!
As a seasoned WDW eater, I can tell you that Artist Point has been going downhill with each visit, unfortunately. Jiko may change, but it's always good to my taste buds, and it's always unique.
And don't sweat "dressing up". There are very few places in the World that you actually have to dress real nice for, and I don't think that anyone has named one yet.
Golden Teeth and Golden Tones, welcome to my presence
We just had a terrific dinner at Narcoosee's a couple weeks ago. The food stands up to California Grille, at least at the moment. No jacket required, many diners had shorts.
Have you seen my dad? Would you page him for me?
Next Family trip = April 16 - April 23, 2011, staying in an All Star Vacation Home!
Thank you all very much! I'll take them all into consideration.
V my definition of dressing up is blouse, skirt and dress shoes lol.
I could do a casual blouse and dress pant but that's as far as I'm going hahaha

California Grill has awesome food and a great view. You can't beat it. Cali Grill is pretty casual most of the time. I've seen everything from jacket and tie to dress shorts and golf shirt for men and from shorts to sun dressess for the women. I think that as long as you don't show up in a tank top and cut off shorts, you should be ok with what you described.
Enjoy your birthday dinner.

Thanks!
I've got so many options and so little time to try them lol. Part of me wants a mature dinner for my birthday but another part wants a character meal at Crystal Palace.
In 08 I did Chef Mickey for my actual birthday and it was fun so I don't know lol. I think I want to stay at the park on my birthday since we will only have a 4 day pass and I don't want to miss anytime away from the park much. But I haven't booked yet so I have a couple of days to think about it.
I thank you all for the input and tips!

For my 24th, we did Kona. It was wonderful and we were able to go straight from the parks to dinner! I would also check out the Wave!
