I haven't tried either yet but hopefully that will change this November. I know you can get the Carrot Cake Cookie at the Writers Stop at MGM/DHS but where do you get the Butterfinger Muffin? I love Butterfingers candy, is it even similar?![]()
Carrot Cake Cookie
Butterfinger Muffin
I tried the carrot cake cookie based on Lou's recommendation and it was amazing. By tried, I mean I had a couple! I've had the muffin before and was not impressed. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but it was no carrot cake cookie! With this debate continuing to come up, I felt we needed a poll!

I too am wondering where to get these.
You can get them at Starring Rolls (Its a wonderful bakery yum yum). I chose the cookie due to the fact that carrot cake is my favorite kind of cake, and I like cookies better than cupcakes. I'm pretty sure I'll like it best... but I haven't tried so I guess I could be wrong!
Just had the carrot cake cookie for the first time just the other day. Yum. Very tasty, but too rich/sweet to eat the whole thing myself. Great to share.
After hearing about this cookie on the show I just had to try it for myself. The Writers Stop is really a gem in itself, finding this cookie is just icing on top of a great chill spot.
I agree the Writers' Stop is a gem. Their coffee is actually very good (not Nescafe). After listening to the 24 hr live show, I made it a point to try both the CC cookie and the Butterfinger cupcake during our mid-October trip. I have to be honest, I was not overly impressed with either one except for the SIZE of both.
I thought that the filling in the cookie was more frosting-like than cream cheese though the cake part was moist and tasty. I shared the Butterfinger cupcake from Starring Rolls with my DW and friends. It tasted as though something in it was burned and the white filling also tasted like sugary frosting, not creamy at all.
I will be going back to both places to try some other of the tasty treats there (Red Velvet Cupcake!!!), but my favorite pastry at WDW is still the napoleon from the bakery in "France".![]()

The carrot cokie was really good but made me reallt thirsty.
I haven't had the Butterfinger muffin yet but the Carrot Cake Cookie was a highlight of my last trip. I tried it based on Lou's recommendation and I was overwhelmed by how good it was. I wish I could have finished the whole thing!
How about "other"?
I really enjoyed the red velvet cupcake from Starring Rolls.
I'm hoping to try the Carrot Cake Cookie on my next trip.
