Tonys Town Square
Hey all!
My family and I are headed down October 1st (YAY!!! :yahoo: 36 DAYS!!)
Our first day we will be headed to MK - where my boyfriend will be having his first ever Disney Park experience! :) I am SUPER excited to experience the parks with him on his first time - and to celebrate, he and I are going to Tony's for lunch. I have always wanted to eat there and we both love Italian.
We will be there for lunch (wish we were doing dinner but no reservations that didn't interfere with the parade)
So I have two questions. What are your menu faves and must haves? And how should we go about getting porch seating -- or if you even recommend trying...
I just want to have the best experience possible and know that you all will be able to help!

Re: Tonys Town Square
Its been a long time since i've eaten there, but i remember the chicken marsala being pretty good. That being said, I think we ate there for dinner, so that may not be a lunch offering.
As far as sitting out on the porch, maybe just ask when you check in or maybe call in ahead of time and see if you can request that. The worst they can do is say no.

Re: Tonys Town Square
We have never eaten at Tony's,so I cannot offer any advice for it.But i would like to say,if something happens and yall cannot eat at Tony's,or if yall decide not to for whatever reason,I reccommend either Pinochicco's Village Haus,in Fantasyland,or Columbia Harbor House in Liberty Square, right across from the Haunted Mansion. At Pinochicco's,there are tables with a view of the boarding area of It's A Small World, and we have sat there and enjoyed the view, along with my girls waving to the folks on the ride.
At Columbia, the fish baskets are top-knotch!There is tons of seating, downstairs on the main level, and upstairs.where a lot of people don't go sometimes. So if ya want a little quieter meal, upstairs is where I reccommend.
I know these are fast food places, but the food at both are really good and less expensive, but also with some nice areas to sit and relax and enjoy the surroundings.Hope this helps a little.

I love their steak that is on the dinner menu. I haven't really had the lunch but the shrimp scampi linguini looks delicious!! I have had the pistachio creme brulee and it was great. Enjoy your meal!

Re: Tonys Town Square
So glad we decided to eat here... I was having some reservations - people weren't too warm about it...
Amazingly, this ended up being our favorite meal!
We sat at the corner table of the porch - great view of main street and perfect for people watching. We got to see the Move It Shake It Celebrate It parade - our waitress was great... and the food... awesome!
I had the Multigrain Pasta Primavera... Really amazing, with all the roasted veggies and feta... Great dish
Hatem had the Spaghetti and Meatballs (in true Lady and the Tramp fashion...)
Our dessert was the best part (of course)
I had the Seasonal Dessert which was Pumpkin Cheesecake (complete with a cinnamon drawing of Lady and the Tramp :)
But Hatem's dessert was our best dessert during our week long stay. Pistachio Creme Brulee. Death by deliciousness. Please, try it if you are there. I was thrilled to find the recipe online. It was so perfectly made and the Pistachio flavor was great! Awesome! I ate half of his!! :)
We have decided to make Tony's Town Square our new Magic Kingdom Tradition!

Re: Tonys Town Square
I always enjoy Tony's and eat there most times I visit WDW. I love the Bianca pizza, and the decor is just super-sweet. I wish they sold the broaches the female cast members wear! They're adorable. I heard that, once upon a time, a CM sold hers on eBay and got fired for it.

Re: Tonys Town Square
I LOVE those broaches. :)
Too pretty!

Re: Tonys Town Square
So does anyone have a picture of a cast member wearing one I cant picture it

Re: Tonys Town Square
I don't :( I took 4000+ photos on this trip (in my defense, I am a photographer...) and didn't get a single one of our servers while we were there!
It is a cameo of either Lady and the Tramp or just Lady (I can't remember!) Very sweet and classic.

Re: Tonys Town Square
I had lunch there a few years and it was a touch disappointing. Frankly, it just was average
but last year, we did the grand gathering breakfast there. Very well done. I recommend it
