from what I remember there is no good view of the fireworks from Artist Point
'Ohana has a pretty good view and if I remember the music is piped in
I'm planning a trip to WDW the weekend of Oct. 15-17th to propose to my girlfriend. I'll be proposing in the Magic Kingdom on Friday (to make sure none of the CM's accidentally out my proposal before I have a chance to do it!).
I'm trying to come up with special dinner options for Friday and Saturday, but with short notice, ADRs are hard to come by. Right now, I have Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge on Saturday. I heard a rumor that there is a view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks, but I can't find anywhere that confirms it. Anybody know if this is true?
If not, is there somewhere else (besides California Grill, which is booked up) to get a great view while dining?
Thanks!

O'hana, where you can step out onto the beach to watch fireworks if you finish dinner before fireworks would work. As an alternative, you could eat at any of the monorail resorts, then head over to the Poly for a drink and watch the fireworks on the beach.
I don't remember any view of the Magic Kingdom from Artist Point, as I remember it faces out towards the back of the resort. I believe Narcoossee's has a view (ask to be sure). Also if you can get into Cali Grill at another time during that day they will let you go back up to view fireworks.![]()
Artists point really has nothing... the best view from WL is at the boat launch... and even then there are trees in the way... no bueno... stick with ohana...

For my birthday 2 years ago we had dinner at Kona, then went out onto the beach at the Poly to watch the fireworks. Just another option
And congrats! Hope she says yes!
