I can confirm. I'm writing from Italy and I was born in Sicily.

The Sicilian pizza is named usually "Focaccia" and one of many type of Sicilian pizza is the historic "Focaccia Messinese": Focaccia Messinese | Facebook and have the crust

only the Original Naples Pizza is soft and the border is high 2 centimeter and the orginal taste is Margherita maked for Margherita Queen - ingredients: mozzarella, tomato, basilic, parmigiano and extra virgin olive oil...

Sicilian Pizza = Crust and high
Roman Pizza = Crust and tall
Naples Pizza = Soft and high
Genoa Pizza = Soft and high
and more more more pizza for more Italian Regions...

    Buona.....
