Oh well, at least we have the cheap, delicious costco hot dogs too (only 50 cents more expensive than in the US lol). We went to the blue jays game on Friday and spent $10.50 on hot dogs from the Rogers Center. Thats for ONE hot dog, no fries or drink. Take that Disney!
lol I was being sarcastic. But ya, totally not fair. We were going to go to another jays game on Sunday but when we realized that both parking ($25!) and lunch would each be more than the tickets, we opted out. But compared to tourist attractions around here Disney really isn't all that badly priced.
[QUOTE]Well I get where you are coming from and now you get usI expect Disney to be overpriced but not ludacris. An $8.00 hotdog to me hits that ludacris level, now especially since they are a chicken blendy thing that is not getting wonderful reviews.

Oh ya compared to the food prices in your country its for sure way too much. I always just didn't get why I've never found it to be that bad, and then I realized its not that I'm crazy, its just my overpriced country making it seem normal priced. Now, don't even get me started on the cost of DVDs and Blurays ($40 for a stinkin bluray is why I pretty much only get Disney movies when they're presents).

alrighty, so I'm gonna just show you a photo of the hotdogs from the Lunching Pad (which are the same size and price as the Caseys ones) so you can see how massive these things are. I couldn't finish mine for lunch, and I'm not a person who doesn't finish their meals! a Costco hotdog this isn't!
Maybe still not worth $8 for it plus fries, but it was bigger than any burger I've had at Disney, and the burgers plus fries at Cosmic Rays are just under $9. Plus... this is meat topped with meat!

Can't even see the hot dog in those pictures! It's looks like it's worth 8 dollars, but i rather stick with a regular hot dog with ketchup![]()
Holy cow!!! Well, welcome to Disney World! It's hard enough just trying to find the money to get down there in the first place.
Wishin' I was in the World
What will you CELEBRATE!
I go for the plain hot dog meal....all I need in life is a good dog with a pile of (free) sauerkraut.
Worst thing is, I read on a blog that Coke charges Disney NOTHING for it's products as part of an agreement to be the soft drink provider for all Disney Parks.
It always boggles my mind that people buy bottled water instead of getting free ice water. Hey, each to their own I guess.
i so cant wait to try the cheesesteak hot dog...im drooling just looking at it....

Sometimes all you need is a reminder that out there lies a better place... a better world... a Walt Disney World.

See, I don't find the DP to be the great bargain it once was, unless it is free of course. We aren't big on desserts right after a meal, snack a different story. So we wouldn't normally order desserts for 2 meals a day and pay a tip on 4 desserts at our sit down.
When the tip was included and an appetiser, it was great!
