    'Ohana

I have a question about dining at 'Ohana. What do they mean by "family dining"? Are you seated at tables with other families like the German restaurant in Epcot? Can you get a table for one if you want? Is it all you can eat? Thanks.

It is all you can eat but you are at your own table. They bring out bowls of items and then skewers of meat. Plan on waddling out of there!

Oh my goodness, this is one of our favorite places to eat. They start off with some coconut bread (I don't like it and don't eat it, but my husband really loves it). Then they explain what they will bring and how dinner works. They then bring out salad (this is wonderful). Then comes some lo mein noodles, cooked veggies, chicken wings/legs, and potstickers. All of these are amazing. The potstickers and chicken are the best. And then come the skewers of meat. You normally get shrimp, steak and pork. They also put 3 sauces on the table to dip your meat in if you need. Then comes a dessert of bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream (I don't like the bread pudding, but eat the ice cream with sauce and it is amazing). My advice, go easy on the veggies, noodles, and bread, but fill up on the rest. It is so much fun to eat there and you could go alone and it would still be good. They won't put anyone else at your table, but bring as much food as you want to eat and they won't look at you funny. Just make sure to say hi to all the cousins!

This is my family's favorite place to eat. They just keep bringing skewer after skewer to your table. It's a fun place to eat. Unfortunately we could not get a reservation for our trip next month.

The closest real-world example is a Brazilian Steakhouse. Not quite the assortment of meats, but if you're a carnivore, you'll love it!

Thanks for all the information. I am (was??) looking forward to it. I tried to get a reservation for mid-June. I am pretty flexible, over 6 days, as early as 5 or as late as 10, and could find nothing. For the fun of it a checked a weekday in October 2011 and they were also booked up. It sounds like this place is giving Le Cellier a run for its money as far as eating there goes.

    Some people are like Slinkies.

They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.

Friends are Gods way of apologizing to us for our families.

It is really hard to get an ADR. If only one, I'd try showing up right when they open. My Grandparents did that about a year or so ago and they waited about 20 minutes for a table.
