That's actually what I meant. The fact that I actually enjoyed the burger was just salt in the wound.

But, it was the only alternative to over-paying for a bunch of stadium food, so I crossed over to the dark side for a brief, but embarrassing moment.

It traditionally has fruit added to it which makes for great flavor and more sweetness. It is processed differently too than ice cream, heated and pasteurized because of the added egg yolk which makes it very rich and then unlike ice cream which is frozen during churning, gelato is almost flash frozen. This results in it being far heavier.

Gelato is an italian version of ice cream, only creamier. I have it every time I isit my grandmother on Mulberry Street in Manhattan. At 91, ahe's one of the last of her kind over there and still insists that we'll run into one of her friends outside. Not happening.
