    Counter Service On DDP

Hi all... I have the DDP for the first time this year and Im wanting recommendations on places and food to try out.

We normally do Flame Tree BBQ at AK and Cosmic Rays/Pinocchio at MK but we are struggling to ensure we use all 14 credits up... anyone recommend their favourite items?

Many thanks as you can tell its gonna be about the magic and the food

My favorite places to eat that take the Quick Service other than the ones you mentioned are

MK: Casey's Corner, Pecos Bill's, Main Street Bakery (snack credit for cinnamon roll) and Aloha Isle (Dole Whip FTW)

Epcot: every single counter service place in the world showcase

    Studios: Fairfax Faire, ABC Commisary

AK: Yak and Yeti counter service

    Downtown: Earl of Sandwich

AK- I would like to try Yak and Yeti's counter but also love Flame Tree.

DHS- I don't like any of them. Not sure why. But I haven't tried them all. I tend to go for a sit down there.

My favorite Counter at Epcot is Sunshine Seasons. Both for breakfast and lunch.

MK favorites are Pecos Bills and Cosmic Rays. I do like Casey's if I am in the mood but I am rarely in the mood for a hot dog.

At MK I love Columbia Harbour House for the tuna and my DW always gets the fish or shrimp.

For DHS, I recommend Starring Rolls. They have excellent ham and turkey gourmet deli sandwiches.
    Casey's at MK...these hotdogs rock!
Animal Kingdom-Yak and Yeti..I've been craving Honey Chicken since the moment I left!
Epcot-Sunshine Seasons, La Cantina chicken tacos
I'm about as All-American as they come!

My favorite things to use snack credits on are Dole Whips (obviously) a cinnamon Roll from the Main Street Bakery, A Butterfinger cupcake from Starring Rolls, anything from the confectionary. Best place to use snack credits is the World Showcase. You could make an entire meal of snacks from each country.

Also a good tip is that the QS plan comes with a resort refillable mug. If dining at the resort, use the mug and save the bottle of water (or soda) that comes with the meal to drink in the parks. Plus most counter service places will give you a free glass of ice water if you ask. That way you don't have to use snack credits on water.

September 2012: All Star Movies 4 days, 3 nights of magic

March 2013: All Star Movies 3 days, 2 nights of magic

April 2013: Pop Century 3 days, 2 night of magic

(Upcoming) January 2014 6 days, 5 nights of magic

Ooooo I like that! We at POR and get the mug for there so I can see us filling pre and post park visits and I think some of our CS credits gonna be breakfasts at POR so will save the water for another day - thanks!

    Re: Counter Service On DDP

We like to use our snack credits on frozen cokes, hot pretzels, and occasionally ice cream sundaes...and of course, Dole Whips. Keep in mind that the quick service meals include a dessert so we try to steer clear of using our snack credits on desserts unless we've really really got a sweet tooth. On some trips, we also save a good portion of our snack credits for the end of the trip and load up on prepackaged goodies like giant cookies and rice krispies from the MS bakery or our resort's food court to take back home and share. They make great little gifts for friends and family!

Also remember that there are no adult or kids quick service credits, they are all lumped together. That means if you have kids with big appetites they can order adult quick service meals.

OK, now that is a tip that I was not aware of! Good to know.
    Some people are like Slinkies.

They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.

Friends are Gods way of apologizing to us for our families.

I didn't know that either until this trip. One of my twin 8 yr old girls wanted a turkey leg. I asked at the counter if it was counted as an adult or child counter service credit, and she told me that they were all the same.
