resort dining
Hello everyone~
I have been reading everyones opinions for sit down dining at the parks - but what about the resorts? I, as well as several co-workers of mine, are all DVC members. It has gotten to the point that our trips to WDW are more relaxed, more adventurous, etc. instead of hitting the same tried and true favorites we are taking time to experience new things. i.e. afternoons tea, dining with an Imagineer, private tours, etc Which makes for some interesting vacation stories when each of us return. Just wanted to get the opinions of my fellow Disney family as to what your favorite resort dining experience is/was.
Thanks!

Re: resort dining
California Grill at the Contemporary.
Kona Cafe at the Polynesian.
Citricos at The Grand Floridian.
The first and third being very pricey. Kona is actually not that expensive and their food can sometimes rival some of the best restaurants on property.

Re: resort dining
My favorite is always CA Grill, but I also love Beaches & Cream. Everytime I stay at BCV it's a must!

Re: resort dining
Beaches & Cream is the ultimate place to stop for desert. No Way Jose, baby!!

Re: resort dining
Blue Zoo is the place for a meal in my opinion though pricey it is worth every penny :-) Writers Stop at DHS is a lovely hideaway with amazing cookies.
As to tours, I have done keys to the magic kingdom, undiscovered future world and the segway tour. They all are awesome but the Epcot tour is the best as we got a reserved area the same evening to view illuminations. In August 2012 I have booked to do a tour with Lou but more on that laters!

Staying at Old Key West & cruising on the Disney Fantasy

Re: resort dining
Sanaa is at the top of my list for resorts.

Re: resort dining
I also have to go with Sanaa. It was a spur-of-the-moment decision to go, just me and my boyfriend, and it was towards the end of the night so it was very quiet & the service was excellent.
Plus, the food served there is unlike anything else I've had in Disney (i.e. not American) so that was really nice too.
