How do you take yours?



My favorite is a vanilla/pineapple swirl floating in pineapple juice.

Just the right amount of vanilla to alternate with the luscious Dole Pineapple.

Out at DL I took it straight up. Here in WDW I tried it as a float and I enjoyed it very much.

What exactly are these Dole Whips? I have read SO many things about them on this forum and still have no clue what they are. Where in WDW do you buy them? What are the options that this thread refers to? I am very curious!

Right across from the Treehouse- only open until about 5 (at least when we have been there)

You have to try it ! It is yummy! Had it in Hawaii, too on the Dole plantation

I don't know the detailed ingredients, but I'm sure a letter to Dole or WDW would get them (If I saw this in time, I could have asked when I got mine today)

The Dole Whip is basically a soft-serve ice cream, in pineapple, vanilla, chocolate, or a twist. Optionally, it can be served as a float (in pineapple juice!) and optionally with fresh pineapple.

The picture above is very similar to how I take mine. Though mine usually is pineapple/vanilla twist.

Thanks! I had never heard of these until I came to this site and never really understood what they were. Your description was very good - figured there would be pinapple involved! I am going to have to try one next time I go.

Even though it was a bout 6 degrees the other evening, I just HAD to have one!!! Still delicious even in the "frigid" Florida air (washed down by some much-needed hot chocolate)

I just had my first one today!

Vanilla/Pineapple in pineapple juice. It was scrumptious. I'd never heard of them before, and since I... umm... I don't really like Adventureland all that much, I probably would never have found it!

My wife and I tried the Dole Whips for our first time on our last trip, and I must say they're very good. Even the pineapple soft-serve ice cream by itself is excellent. Oh, and the pineapple juice mixed with a cold Sprite makes a very tasty carbonated beverage.
