Re: Tables in Wonderland
Do you have an annual pass? Do you have to factor this into your cost?
What I do is look at the menus and guess what I would eat. Add the cost of this.
I then take this total subtract 20% and add in the extra costs the fee of TIW and additional cost to get on AP? Then I compare the numbers.
TIW discount can be used on alcoholic drinks as well so keep that in mind.

Re: Tables in Wonderland
So Based on the DVC rate of $100
You would have to spend $500 on food to break even. Based on the number of restaurants you are eating at I would say you would benefit from TIW.

Re: Tables in Wonderland
but three of those HOB, Yak and Yeti and TRex dont take the card

Re: Tables in Wonderland
You can find menus with prices on all ears dot net
Do the math and see if it is worth the added expense based on what you plan to order and if you plan to have any adult beverages.
Also take in account if you are coming back to WDW in a year.

Re: Tables in Wonderland
I know we saved over $50 at Ohanas alone! Of course, our bill had a few adult beverages, but I still think it seems like it'd be worth it for you.

You can use a DVC discount at those locations. You do get a TIW discount at HoB (except on Sunday brunch). So, that actually won't help this trip.
Like another post asked, will you be back to WDW to get two trips out of it???
We plan to purhase a TIW this October. But, we are also purchasing AP with a DVC discount. We plan to get 2-3 WDW trips out of our Annual Passes and TIW card. If we only plan one WDW trip, we don't normally purchase an AP or TIW card. We use our DVC discount wherever possible.
