Suggestion: Priority Seating
Can anyone tell me how good or bad dinner at Chef Mickeys is? How's the food, character interaction etc... We are planning on dining there our first night to kind of kick off the trip, and I want to make sure we are eating someplace worth it. Thanks for the info!!
24 days 14 hours, 34 minutes until we get to WDW!!![]()
We already have ADR'S for the first night, but how is the food??Too much to think about help!!!
We ate it for our Thanksgiving meal. It was wonderful. There was something for everyone and of course, my kids ate their weight in Mick a roni and Cheese.
As far as buffets go, we think that it's pretty good. There is quite a good selection and the dessert bar is fabulous! My DS5 loves the kids food bar! We always include Chef Mickey's in our trip! And it's a great restaurant to start your trip out at because what's better than partying with Mickey and the gang????
BTW....welcome fellow Michigandar! What area are you from??
the food is very good as buffets go and the characters come to you at your table at least on time during you meal. My whole family(kids as well as adult) love the experience.

I like Chef Mickeys, you can even get a family photo while you are there. The food is good and the characters are great. :mickey:
:mickey: Chef Mickey's is WDW's second most popular restaurant (Cinderella's Royal Table at breakfast is #1, of course) for good reason!![]()
What I say 100 times each day:
"It's not a Disney Resort even though it's on Disney property!"
We have never eaten dinner there, but it is a must do for breakfast. We always go on a day when we are going to the water park(s). We don't want to miss any early morning park time! LOL.
Enjoy! and when you see Minnie, tell her I still haven't forgotten how she kept trying to flirt with my husband. Remind her that paybacks are tough!
(Edit: How many days are you going to be there? We may have some overlap. We arrive on the 24th and leave on the 2nd.)
They call me "Nana"
I liked the breakfast more than the dinner, but then again,I went for dinner a real long time ago and maybe they had had an off day the time I went.
