favourite dining pavilion at epcot
i love the cantina restaurant in mexico,it's very romantic next to the river of time and the food is excellent--but my favourite is germany, when musikanten are on.my kids run around on the dance floor while we tuck into the delicious buffet. i love the setting as well -it really feels like you're in a little bavarian village centre.--we've visited wdw 5 times before and because we tend to be creatures of habit i've only ever eaten at the nine dragons, biergarten, cantina de san angel restaurant, and the counter serve at the american pavilion(very nice Caesar).--could anybody recommend a favourite meal at your favourite pavilions or places like the coral reef(i hope that's the right name) i should be more adventurous i guess! im not even sure what the other restaurants are like inside

Have you tried the Garden Grille at the Land ? Or the food court in the Land?
We like going there for snacks or a quick lunch. We like sushi so we go to the Japanese area for all sorts - but you have to like that. We are trying all sorts of new restaurants this year. It's just the two of us -no kids - so we are trying the San Angel Restaurant and Le Cellier this year. So try something different

I'll second the Garden Grill at at the Land. Good food, nice character meals, etc., and teh scenery is great!
I'm with you on the San Angel! I love the atmosphere as well as the food (Lou starts singing, well, "humming" the El Rio del Tiempo theme). I am going to try Restaurant Marakesh this year. Also, the L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante in Italy is a nice restaurant will excellent food and atmosphere.

I love Bistro de Paris. A bit pricey but worth every penny. It's very romantic and if you can score a window table you'll get a nice view through the treetops of Illuminations.

Oh, I almost forgot!!
One of my favorite places is sitting at the Cantina de San Angel next to the railing. I like to get a good spot on the right hand side (as you face the lagoon), grab a wet burrito or Plato Combinacion, a churro and an iced tea (or una margarita if I'm in the mood) and plant myself there before Illuminations. Great food and (in my humble opinion) one of the best places to watch one of Disney's finest nighttime shows.

I like eating at Mexico the best. The food is great and I like the volcano and ride next to the restaurant. Then burritos for Illuminations!!!

Trying to bring back long forgotten threads. Fun to read old comments and then start new.
I love Le Cellier, will have to start eating lunches though!

Re: favourite dining pavilion at epcot
I really loved the Rose and Crown Pub,from times past.My wife and I,ate there several times and had a pint of lager, back when we used to drink alcohol.I loved the shepherd's pie, which is what I always got.We sat inside and outside by the water and loved it.One time, the wind was so strong, that we had to literally move inside because it was blowing around so much. Some other people stayed out there. We weren't the only ones to move inside.Sadly,I cannot afford to eat at the sit-down restaurants anymore. We now have two teenage girls with us and with prices higher than past times,we cannot afford it.

Re: favourite dining pavilion at epcot
I enjoy the Rose and Crown as well as Le Cellier and Teppan Edo. The atmosphere at Coral Reef is wonderful but I find the meals to be a bit lackluster. We also like Garden Grill. That is a favorite for my kids.

It is the one that rotates, I've never been personally, now this makes me want to try it. Adding it to the super long wishlist at this point.

Garden Grill is excellent.
We also like Le Cellier and both the table service and counter service places in Mexico.
