Cinderellas Royal Table Change?????

A friend who scheduled their Cinderella's Royal Table lunch last night for July. She was told that the Princesses no longer come to the table, you have to go to the Princesses now. Anyone know if this is true???? Did this reservation person know what they were talking about?????

Oh no I hope it's not true. That sounds like terrible mob action waiting to happen. I liked the relaxed pace of sitting, waiting for the princesses and knowing they would get to you.

I know, if that's the case, I'm changing my PS and going somewhere else in April.

Not only that.. you now have to pay for the entire meal... in advance!! (at time of booking)

Lou do you know if this change is true or not????? You know the seating area isn't that large, so I have to wonder if it is true, where the heck will the princesses sit????

They might hang out in the downstairs waiting area. That is the only place I can think of where there is enough room. But that is just a guess on my part.

I was there in July last year for lunch with my kids. When I was there, the Fairy Godmother and another charecter were waiting out there, if you wanted a photo with them, you went there. But the princesses all came around to our table. If you want to know for sure what is going on now, I suggest calling the dining line and checking....but we went last summer and the kids loved it.

I've gone every year for as long as I can remember. And last April they came to the table. When we made our PS for this April, they told us about about the new photo op downstairs, but said nothing about waiting in line for the princesses upstairs. Since know when seems to have encountered it, we're going to assume that it was a mistake on the CMs part in the conversation. But just to be safe, we're calling the concierge at the Poly and have them check it out.
