Best Meal and Worst Meal at WDW

Ok everyone what has been your best and your worst dining experience at Walt Disney World?
Have you had a favorite place that suddenly went Bad ?

Or have you retried something that you disliked ?

Or is there a favorite that seems to get better each time?

Well we don't do too many of the premium meals when we go. We'd rather spend our money on souveniers to take home. But my wife and I ate at King Stephan's on our honeymoon and loved it. The rassberry - apple pie ala mode was worth the price of admission!!!! This last trip we took the kids to the Crystal Palace for lunch. While it was a little expensive, we felt that we got our money's worth. Also the food was VERY good! And the girls loved seeing Pooh and his friends. As long as they didn't get too close.

I haven't had a "bad" meal in the World. I just always feel that it is too expensive for what you get. But I'm sure that I'm not alone in that respect.

Wow... there's so many good ones to choose from... here's just a few off the top of my head:

Flying Fish - one of the best meals I've ever had - anywhere
Pecos Bill - Something about those cheeseburgers
Kona Cafe - Tonga Toast is a must-do
Prime Time Cafe - Atmosphere adds to the enjoyment
Popcorn stand - Main Street is my fave

Whispering Canyon Cafe - Good fun and good food

More to come...

As for worst... can't say I've had a bad meal, really. OK, maybe the Fish & Chips in the U.K. pavilion kinda stunk last year, but that's about it.

I love Prime Time Cafe Especially when someone has to sing I;m a little teapot
Le Celier is also very good, and Ohanas was a blast.

As for a bad meal I haven't had one because we just go where we know.

You know...I've been thinking about my answer to this question. And it's hard!

I can't choose a favorite and nothing I have had was bad enough to stand out in my mind.

Well, I know that if I polled those of us who went last year at this time it would to a person be the following:

Best meal: Liberty Tree Tavern - everyone just loved the lunch we had there.

Worst meal: California Grill (sorry folks!)

(oh geez....I am now a C ticket person....whoopie! can't wait to get that "E" coupon!)

Seems like every time we eat at the San Angel Inn we enjoy that about as much as any meal we have at the World.

Worst? Gee...let's see...there used to be this little counter service Italian place in Downtown Disney, where Wolfgang Puck Express is now...the one time we ate there we thought was worse than any Sbarro we'd ever tried in any mall we'd ever been in...

Well, not exactly Disney, but Shula's at the Dolphin is excellent, but very expensive on a McDonald's income. As for pure Disney, Prime Time Cafe is at the top of our list, for both atmosphere and good sitck-to-the-ribs food.

The worst? Those giant hot dogs, or whatever they call them. I can still taste the last one I had 4 years ago!!!

did you have fun at the Prime time cafe? Is it too much? I've heard that some people get offended at the "atmosphere" ( and I hate green beans!!!)

Have mucho fun. Prices are about $10-$15/person. Offended? Yes, some people get offended and I wonder why they're at WDW, but 99.999% of people love the show.

P.S. The green beans are excellent, and good for you.
