Big River is great since you can always walk-in. Being the beer lover I am also makes it one of my favorites. Their porter is great. It is a tradition of mine to go to Big River every trip.

same for us! the reservation lady said since it can only be booked 180 days in advance it is nearly impossible to get a dinner res unless you call exactly on the first day bc it is one of the most popluar resteraunts....either way i cant wait to try it!!!

I went to Le Cellier for lunch (I couldn't get dinner, either ), and was SO HAPPY with it. The portions were still gigantic, and it was kind of cool to sneak away to someplace so peaceful in the middle of the day...

Chef Mickey's was my all time fav when i was a kid but the best charcter meal for me by far was Mickey's Backyard BBQ it was fantastic!!!!!

Le Cellier is hard to get an ADR for. We've been pretty lucky. Although we could only get lunch for the August trip. We love Le Celiier. And sometimes you can get walk-ups...not often but we saw a few people get walk-ups in June. I was shocked!

We're eager to try:

Teppan Edo
Tutto Italia
Yachtsmen Steakhouse
Chef Mickey dinner

And we get to try them in August...just a few weeks away now!!

I would love to try Mickey's Backyard BBQ but I want to wait until the kids are a bit older so they can enjoy it more at those prices. Plus, with them not in school we go so far "off season" I don't think it runs when we're going (January).

We did get Le Cellier. We could have done dinner but we opted for Lunch because of the kids...we thought they'd be to cranky for someplace that nice in the evening. Still...its my first trip there.

We ended up with several "firsts" on this next trip so I'm excited...Whispering Canyon, Le Cellier, Crystal Palace, Mama Melrose and Tusker House (first time since the transformation at least)
