There are multiple tell all books out there. While likely some stories are embellished over time, many are true or at least have some meat to them.
It depends on the type of fan you are.
Some fans believe Disney is perfect and can do nothing wrong and will fight to the end of time if any fan says anything against Disney. Those fans would hate the book .
Some fans are middle of the road and like to hear the Pixie Dust and the dirt. Likely would find the book a good read.
Other fans enjoy Disney and also thrive on the dirt. Betting that fan reads the book straight through.
Some people are like Slinkies.
They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.

Have you read it, HG? I thought about giving Realityland a shot, but never pulled the trigger.
Warts exist everywhere. But, I'd think even you have to admit to being overly negative at times.
You and I agree about many things, but your negativity-for-its'-own sake does tend to be off-putting at times.
let's not get this started again

Yes, seriously. Must I be followed into EVERY thread???
Anyway, if the tone of the book is more educational. and not an embellished set of tales, then this one might find its way onto my shelves. Need to check the online synopsis.
I was wondering about this book. I was looking it at last night and trying to figure out if I want to put on my Christmas list or not. I hope someone reads it soon and reports on so I know if I want to put it on my list or to stay away from.

Some are. Some are also really good.
I've read the reviews and some excerpts trying to figure out if I wanted it or not. These books often get cheap pretty quickly, few have staying power. I noticed that it is $2.99 for Kindle. Nothing seems to ruin the magic for me and back-stories always intrigue me.

Nah, wouldn't ruin it for me either.
But don't the Disney tell-all books get a little redundant? I get it, Walt wasn't the easiest person to work for and it can be hard to be all smilely when you're not in a good mood, but as a former Disney Store employee I can honestly say that even though working for the Disney was challenging at times, it is also still the best company that I've ever worked for. The benefits alone beat most jobs.
Why do so many people focus on the negative?
I just ordered it on my Kindle, but have not read it yet. After I read it, I'll post a review on Amazon. I recently read "Mouseshawitz - My Summer Job" and was dissapointed in that book. I tried to verify some of the stories in the book for the sensational incidents described, but could find no supporting evidence. I'm afraid the stories in that book were fiction.
