I would put Daisy as common (she can be found at MK and DHS in the morning, and also appears at Tusker House breakfast). However, Horace and Clarabelle are rare (as they no longer come out).

Glad I got to see them when I did, then! It's cool to see original characters like that.
When I went in November for xmas that was the 1st time i got to see Jafar (outside the parade that is) and take a pic with him. I was told Jafar was pretty rare. Now I just want to see Hades.
I've met Roger Rabbit and Friar John and the villain from Pinochio (the fox) bit my arm as a child. The character experience used to be so much more special years ago. I miss the days when you could turn a corner and some obscure disney character would be standing alone.
One of the most rare EXPERIENCES with a popular character was when I was in Epcot and I was looking to get out of the heat and I stepped into an empty room in Morroco and when I turned around there was Jasmine, just standing by herself. Definately a nice surprise.
Around 1994 I saw Capt. Nemo and Mr. Toad; they were being chased by Disney managers with large nets. Toad got away but they nabbed Nemo and took him "backstage" before he could make a fuss. I guess they finally caught Toad a few years later.
I've met Jiminy Cricket, Prince John (He's from robin hood right?), and Brer Fox (doesn't like to cooperate lol). I also saw Tweedle Dum and Dee in 2004.... I never met them though.
Hmm... that's an interesting figment comment... do I see a refurb in our future?
I'd love to be able to meet The Blue Fairy, and (of course) Dreamfinder...
Does anyone else Smile and go to their happy place without control when they see the characters?
Me too! My kids have to run to catch up with me when I see a character!!!
We just got back from the World a week ago, and looking back on my trip I was realizing how hard it is nowadays to find characters other than the Fab 5, Pooh characters, and princesses. I remember how years ago at then MGM, you could find so many characters, such as Esmerelda, Hercules, Cruella, the Witch, the Queen of Hearts, and the penquins from Mary Poppins.
This is where one of my favorite character memories occured. I was standing in line for a picture with Pocahontas and John Smith when I saw Belle in her everyday "blue" outfit come out. She was standing in front of Sid Cahuenga's and no one noticed her. By the time I was done with my picture, still no one came, and she just sat on the step and took out one of her many books and started to read. It was amazing to see.
But here's a list of the rare characters I've seen:
*Frollo
*Queen of Hearts
*White Rabbit
*Gov. Ratcliffe
*Brer Fox
*Brer Bear
*Max
*Liver Lips
*Prince John
*Jessie (at keast I haven't seen her the past couple years)
*Robin Hood
*Stanley
*Tweedledee and Tweedledum
*Perla
*Suzy
*Jafar
*Princess Atta
*Geppetto
*Gideon
*Clopin
*Friar Tuck
*Esmerelda
*Hercules
*the Witch from Snow White
*Cruella DeVil
*Kermit
*Miss Piggy
*Rabbit
*Launchpad McQuack
*Jiminy Crickett
*the Sheriff of Nottingham
*Meg
*Phil
*the Queen from Snow White
*Mr. Penguin (Mary Poppins)
*John Smith
*Prince Charming
*Snow White's Prince
*Prince Phillip
*Marie (the first and only time I saw her)
*Gadget
*Captain jack Sparrow
*Scrooge McDuck
Your story reminds me of our first family trip. We had just left Hall of President and there standing next to the Christmas Shoppe was Pocahontas and Meeko! People were just walking past them. We had time to duck back into a gift shop, buy a pen and autograph book and get autographs before anyone saw them.
