In the books Rabbit has relatives who are referred to as "his relations", which you can even see in the opening title sequence of "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh". In the films, however, Rabbit is solo.
Something has confused me lately. I recently completed a puzzle of a Peter Ellenshaw painting and in it there are 2 rabbits in the foreground:
and then I was looking at my pooh bookends and it's of pooh being pulled out of rabbit's hole. There are two rabbits (in addition to christopher robin) helping pull pooh out, when in the cartoon it is christopher robin, kanga, and roo that are pulling on pooh.
Is this just a difference in the older version of pooh and his friends and also the pooh in the original books and the new pooh? who are these mysterious rabbits?

I have a Disney book coming out in the first week of March. Stop by www.fromscreentotheme.com for more details!
I have a Peter Ellenshaw print that is similar to the picture you have. Seeing this made me go take a close look, but there are no Rabbits in my print.
