Best place to find Characters
What is the best park (or resort) to find certain Characters? I know you can find all the characters at all (or most) places, but what is the best location to decrease wait times? For example, Mickey is obviously going to be the most popular, must see. The line in Magic Kingdom is usually pretty long, however the line in Hollywood Studios is usually less. Instead of standing in line for hours to see the Princesses, get a character meal at Akershurs in Norway in Epcot.
So what are your suggestions of the best places to find the characters with the littlest wait time?

Re: Best place to find Characters
Well, it depends on the character. If they are out quite commonly, their line usually won't be too bad (plus it depends on the time of the day, and the time of the year). However, if the character is not as common (or is only out a few times during the day), their line will be quite long (also could be if they are extremely popular). Some characters that fall into the second category include the Power Rangers, Tiana and Naveen, and the Fairies.
Some of my suggestions are:
*to see the VIPs, go to the Character Spot at Epcot. You get Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto (usually) for one wait.
*the lines for the princesses (with exception of Cinderella and Tiana) are much shorter at Epcot. You can usually find Snow White in Germany, Mulan in China, and Belle and Aurora in France.
*The meeting location for the Pooh characters at AK usually has the shorter wait time (although, at times UK isn't that bad either)

Re: Best place to find Characters
Agree with Joanna on all those spots. We do not wait for characters at MK, but will head straight to Epcot's Character Greet at rope drop (while my DW or I get in line at Soarin for FPs). Meeting country-specific characters at World Showcase is also shorter than MK. Sometimes, you have to seek them out like Genie, Alladin, and Jasmine at the back of Morocco.

Re: Best place to find Characters
Wait times at Camp Minnie Mickey seem to be a little better as long as you don't happen to be there when the Lion King Show is ending

Re: Best place to find Characters
I agree and love the Ecot Character Spot. We always try to get there when it opens. They usually have Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald...sometimes others like Chip & Dale. They are wearing their classic clothes at this spot.
I have also had good luck at Camp Minnie & Mickey at AK. But go during the lion king show. The last time we went (January) there was little or no wait. Donald, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Thumper, & Chip & Dale were there.
Here they are wearing the Safari looking clothing.
I agree with meeting princesses in Epcot unless it's Cinderella. We did the Princess Dinner at Akershus in Epcot to get pictures.
Hope this helps

Re: Best place to find Characters
When you get to each park, just go to guest relations and ask for the location of characters. They'll be able to tell you who will be where and at what times. Disney is a machine... these things aren't random. There's a set schedule for appearances.
Really, Walt? Disneyland is MY land? Why would I want a silly little land when I can have the WORLD.
