I was introduced to Duffy the Disney Bear at the last passholder event. Duffy is very cute, but the story of his creation is silly, and the event was like going to a Tupperware Party. Not only is a meet and greet being built across from the store located to the left as you enter World Showcase, but that particular store is supposed to be turned into a Duffy shopping area. The bear is a huge success in Japan. Friends, who have been to Tokyo, talked about people "covering their Duffy with a blanket, while waiting for a parade, to keep him from getting sunburn". Tokoyo even has special photo areas to pose Duffy. Way over the top for me, thank you very much. I'll live very nicely without Duffy. I believe Duffy will cost $25.00 and outfits are $15.00 each.
