what is this i don't even
there's nothing to get hung about
Why? Because the wacky Japanese LOVE their plush toys. Cats, bears, you name it. Women and older girls carry these things around in harnesses like they were babies. It's insane. So Disney's trying to capitalize on the craze created overseas by bringing him here. And you know what? Dopey Americans will by into it. Seriously, who takes a kid into Toys R Us and of all the toys in the store, they leave with a plush generic teddy bear? Very few, if any. But heck, say it was sewn by Minnie Mouse (huh?) and now it's a must-have for kids. Or so their mothers will think. If we stop buying this junk, Disney will stop doing this to us.
Well, no one is forcing us to buy one... and I suppose I probably will never buy one.
I agree he is cute. Won't be buying him. Too much other stuff I would rather have.
We all have our "" thing. For some it maybe the bear, me it is Vinylmation.
Having a husband who designs programs for these types of things, they cost a fraction of a cent to mold and then sell them to guests for how much???? And you don't even get to pick the vinyl ones you want. So there is my current "" moment.
i dont get the bear.. where in the world did that come from.. and duffy.. i dont think so.. nope.. i wont be buying one.. i come to disney for the mouse.. you can get a brown bear anywhere anyday of the week and probably for tons cheaper. i am totally anti-duffy bear

When I went to Disney for the first time there was a Magic I felt. I could do anything or be anything. No feeling would ever top this......
Then I took my daughter.
I'm so glad Disney is focusing their energies on something important like creating new stuffed animals instead of wasting their time on refurbishing the WoL pavilion or fixing Test Track.

We saw them setting up to film a video of Duffy on the Grand I yesterday after we had breakfast at the GF Cafe. He is a cute and will fit in well in Epcot (since he was "made by Minnie to accompany Mickey on his travels around the world) but I would rather have seen Disney put their energy in to promoting Figment as the mascot of Epcot again.
i agree!
