Duffy's story is kind of cute if you're into the cuddly toy thing Minnie Mouse made Duffy for Mickey to take on his travels around the world with him. In that sense it makes sense having him at Epcot.

That video from the Japanese show made me LOL I wonder how long it'll be until Epcot gets a similar show?

Not even close to an accurate comparison

well my 12yo daughter loves Duffy and at first, I was annoyed by the disappearance of the Disney Bear ( have the book, the plush and all for my newborn 10 years ago).... but Duffy grows on you. We now have fun looking for new outfits for Duffy, and I like the Duffy thing at the KidCot stops... whatever you call those things that you color.... but I like Duffy! We even joined a Duffy homeschool club this week who meets at WDW .... telling ya', he grows on you.... now I don't know about getting a ShellieMay plush..... don't want to teach birds and bees to my kiddos just yet:)

wow there is a duffy homeschool? tell me more!

I just joined a homeschooling Disneyworld group and they mentioned it. I'm getting details. They met today at the Boardwalk at Luna Park. Kids can bring any plush, but if you have a Duffy, dress him up! the moderator stated they study the history and geography of the countries that the Epcot duffy outfits represent.... meant for smaller kids than my 12 yo., but they are totally into it! will let you know what I find out:)

"When life hands you lemons, make lemonade...." Finding the bright side of Duffy ....:)

oh, a yahoo DW homescool group.... They do American girl lessons at the park, Duffy Club and are going into the sequential timeline layout of MK historically this fall.... sounds fascinating!
