    Captain Jack Sparrow?

    Just wondering if anybody knows if there is a Captain Jack Sparrow character roaming around POTC. If there is I would get a picture with him in a heartbeat!

    No, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is soon because of the re-theming of the ride. I have heard nothing about this, and I am only guessing.

    Thats what I was thinking too. But I am going down there in t-minus 28 days and I wanted to get a picture with him, but I will have to see when I get down there!

    I hope that it doesn't change that much either. But ever since i saw the movie, I always said "Ok if they just add Captain Jack and do nothing else to the ride, I will be happy". So I just hope it doesn't change anything too much.

    Being the pirate history geek that I am, maybe someone else on here would appreciate this tidbit I came across not too long ago--seems the Dutch East India Company wasn't in the habit of branding the wrists. If a pirate wasn't hanged on the spot, these particular businessmen practiced branding the foreheads of any and all corsairs they could get their hands on (may explain why we never see Jack without his trusty bandana).
