Morning all...what excitement around here!

Congrats to everyone on the new jobs. Jill, you look great and have everyone jealous of your new adventure. You'll have to let us know how Traditions goes and keep us posted. We'll live vicariously through you

Things are going ok here. Just tired and still trying to get rid of a cough.

Hope you all have a great day!!

Re: The Deck 7 Disney Dream Neighbors

Hey, where is everybody?

I need a little pick me up. Anybody got a Disney fix for me?
News on the cruise? Random trivia? Anything?

Maybe I'll go put on an old DCL thing I recorded from the travel channel.
How can I find out when they'll air something Disney? Website, I suppose.
I need a fix!

Ok; question for everyone! When you go to WDW, do you go
to all the countries in the World Showcase?

I always plan to, but somehow that's usually my last day,
then I'm too tired and just skim my faves.

There are shows all around the countries. then you go and look at all of the items from the countries they sell. There are a couple of 360 degree around shows from the country. They usually use people from those countries in each area. There's food and candy from the countries. In mexico you can take a boat ride w/Donald and the 3 caballeros. Girl you don't know what you are missing.

I hit all the countries; usually for the shops, food and drinks.

if I'm gonna skim, it would be in future world not world showcase~

Do you read D23 mags or Celebrations?

I love catching up on those when I'm hurtin for a Disney fix.

When those are caught up, a trip to the Disney store helps me too~

the shows are always so old,

it frustrates me when I go to look and I find I've seen them all already~

Oh, I do the rides! Love 'em!
I just don't explore too deeply, and I feel bad about that.
One year we at in Morocco. There was a belly dancer.
And I love the Ricotta Pie in Italy, but could not find it last time.
And last year it was my birthday and the guy contolling the boats
in the Three Caballeros didn't let any one else on the boat except
my BFF. I thought that was pretty cool.

But, yes, I am sure missing a lot.
One year I hope to go there FIRST!

I totally agree about the old stuff! (Not to mention the cheeziness )
Nope; I don't subscribe to those. Maybe I should. You think it's worth it?

I would like to stop at some of the take-out kinda places, and get a little something frim each, and then do a picnic by the water. But we are usually there because we've made lunch or dinner reservations.
Loved the food at Octoberfest, by the way!

I'm probably too old for the passport stamp thing, but it sounds like fun.
And I'm a scrapper, so I could use it on a page.

Re: The Deck 7 Disney Dream Neighbors

LONG day here today. Followed by long days tomorrow and Friday and MOM coming in this weekend! So I'll prob be quieter for a few days!

I usually hit all the countries, mostly to shop. We like eating dinner in Epcot multiple times over longer trips too (which is why we like the Epcot resorts - you can have a yummy dinner and walk it off heading back to your hotel!). I'm not into any of the movies. But we do go on Maelstrom and the ride in Mexico.

Last time we were there we didn't do anything but France.....we were there first thing and did Future World. But the weather was MISERABLE. Sooooooooo hot and humid. After lunch we decided we needed to cool off and headed to downtown disney for a movie. We got back and only had time to go to France before our dinner reservations and then the park closed s owe didn't get to see anything else!

Have fun with Mom. That's awesome.

And I can sure relate to the rest. How many times can you sit through the movies? Well, I have been known to do it for the air conditioning!

Absolutely Worthy of a looksee, I dont always have time to read so I save money by buying whatever is most current.

D23 is available at Borders but Celebrations has to be ordered online.

NEVER TOO OLD!!!

Epcot has new new game; Mission Kimpossible. The only drawback to the game is its accessed thru fastpass and had actually had run out of FPs when Rose and I went to play last trip.

What do you all think of meeting up at Epcot the first night back on land?

Maybe try to meet up at the American Garden Flower & Garden Concert

I also like Shelley's idea of skipping breakfast (a smart cruiser would have snacks packed for a quick breakfast in the room) then heading to Epcot after checking in at our respective resorts. I am willing to set up a time and country for anyone interesting in world traveling together.

Yes I am. At least as long as Earl continues to head out to sea and SW keeps flying!

I finally caught up with all of the posts since last May. I haven't been keeping up since our Wonder cruise and DW trip. Luckily we have the Dream coming up so I have to get reacquainted with will all the cool kids on Deck 7!

Jill, I'm so happy you finally got into your new home in FL, and Shelley just told me that you got hired on (on the spot I may add!) in DW. You lucky girl! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't even more than a little jealous. Here's hoping you still get to have time off to go on the Dream.

Like Shelley, I probably won't be online too much this weekend; spending time with Shel and the furry grandkids. When I get back I'll see if I can download some of our vacation picks from the Wonder.

Happy (upcoming) Labor Day to everyone!
