Re: Disney Dream: Deck 2 Crew
:) An unexpected(forgotten) payment due to me this month has brightened my week. Due to this payment I'll be able to pay off the balance of the cruise very quickly. I have to wait until next month to look at flights with AirTran, calendar isn't open far enough yet. Then I've gotta get a hotel for at least a couple days before and after the cruise.
Re: Disney Dream: Deck 2 Crew
Took my passport paperwork in today, I should get it on or by July 16. I never thought I'd have a passport, wow. Hope everyone is doing well and getting syched for the Dream.
Re: Disney Dream: Deck 2 Crew
Hope everyone is doing well! I checked my passport status last night and it'll be here on or before the 22nd of this month. :) Yay!

Only 243 days until your cruise sets sail!
Re: Disney Dream: Deck 2 Crew
Cool!! Check this out, I want to bring a little bottle I could put some sand in and cork it as a memento. Found these on Amazon, think I'll get em. Amazon.com: MINIATURE GLASS BOTTLE with STOPPER and LOOPS - spice apothecary: Everything Else
Cheap price relatively and a fun thing to do I think. :)
Re: Disney Dream: Deck 2 Crew
Those are cool, wish I had those for our vacation a week ago.
Re: Disney Dream: Deck 2 Crew
Due to us trying to make it so our 1st grader doesn't miss too much school before his spring break we may be doing a pre and post land stay for the cruise instead of just post. We are now looking at a few days at POP before the cruise and 4 more days after the cruise at POFQ. Where is the rest of the Deck 2 crew staying? We are also considering getting annual passes for the first time as well. We are planning to do an Oct 2011 trip as well so between the cruise trip and that trip the annual passes are a good deal. And.. it would be cool to be the owner of an annual pass as well. :)
Re: Disney Dream: Deck 2 Crew
I'm flying in on the 25th and staying at Port Orleans Riverside until we leave for the cruise. Afterward I may just do one night when we get back and leave the Friday after the cruise. I'm waiting for the booking calendar for Allegiant Air and Airtran to open farther so I can compare prices. Oh, by the way, I brought up the idea of going to Jellyrolls on the 25th and I've got a couple of others interested as long as they can make accommodations for their kids. Anybody from the Deck 2 crew wanna try and get together before the dessert party? I'm only getting an EPCOT ticket on Saturday, just for the party. Can't wait to see everyone!!

Re: Disney Dream: Deck 2 Crew
Hey Nolan, I didn't see us on your chart! We're staying in 2019 - Shanna & Kyle! We're thinking of running the princess 1/2 before booking it over to the cruise (still havent figured out if we are crazy yet) although we may hold that off till next year in case we can see the shuttle launch on the 26th! So many cool things that weekend I wish it were more spread out! :o
Re: Disney Dream: Deck 2 Crew
Sorry about that!! Consider it fixed, I should probably go and look if their are any new Deck 2 Crewmembers that don't know about this thread.
Re: Disney Dream: Deck 2 Crew
Hello all Fellow Deck 2 mates! My Name is Jim, and My wife Debbie and I are sharing Deck 2 along with you fine Mates onboard the Disney Dream! We are staying in Cabin 2000, and My inlaws, Libby and Don will be in Cabin 2002. I have just turned old enough for AARP to start bombarding Me with Mail to Join, and Debbie is Just turning 39. I work for the US Post Office and Debbie works for Horizon insurance. We are from Toms River, New Jersey. This will be our first Disney Cruise. We both have done one cruise before. Long time ago! Libby and Don are avid Cruisers, First Time Disney Cruisers though. Love the Donald Duck door themes, Don is crazy about him. We are staying both before and after the cruise at WDW. Port orleans Riverside before, and Not sure where afterwards yet. Getting in Feb 25th and will be at lou's party on saturday. Sorry for the long Hello, just very excited to meet and sail with everyone.
Re: Disney Dream: Deck 2 Crew
Hi Jim! We're glad to have you and you're family be a part of the crew. I'll be flying in on the 25th and staying at Riverside as well. :) When I get the chance I'll add your family to the chart on Page 1. Oh, a few of us from the big group are gonna try and get together at Jellyrolls the night of the 25th. If you and the family want to you're more than welcome to join us. At this point it's still a rough idea, nothing set in stone. Looking at the chart, our group takes up a nice bit of the cabin space on Deck 2. This could get Goofy fun.... ;)
Re: Disney Dream: Deck 2 Crew
Thank You Nolan. It's nice to be a part of this crew! We may not get into Disney World till late on the 25th, but until a flight is booked You never Know. I have never been to Jelly Rolls, and would love to go if We can check in early enough to get over there. I have 2 other trips to WDW before the cruise, and I am trying hard to not get too worked up for this cruise, and forget the other fun I will be having in WDW, but it is not easy. This will be such fun. I will be taking thousands of pictures for sure!!! :dizzy:
Re: Disney Dream: Deck 2 Crew
For a short time, hopefully a day, the cabin chart is gone. I'm trying to re-tool it with a better look. Bare with me and I think you all will like what I'm working on. ;)
