What's new with DCL:

Wave Phone Service:
Beginning in mid-December, Disney Cruise Line will be offering portable Wave Phones to guest. Each stateroom will come equipped with two phones which will enable guests to call or page each other while on the ship or on Castaway Cay. They will not work off the ship and won't be able to call home, etc. These phones will also replace the current pager system used by the Youth Programs.

Palo Price Increase:
Effective January 29, 2011, the cost of Palo Brunch and Dinner will increase from $15 per person to $20 per person. The cost of the Palo High Tea will increase from $5 per person to $10 per person.

Status update...

Yesterday, I got the WDW Radio Cruise t-shirts I ordered from CafePress and plan to give as gifts to those relatives going (doubt they'll read this). The shirts look nice and I'll post a picture of me wearing one when I get a chance.

I started the online check-in process, but we are waiting on passports to arrive so we can finish the online check-in. No excursions, extras planned thus far. We may get some of the professional photos taken onboard.

Finally received my passport yesterday, on Christmas day... great gift as we were leaving for another family gathering. We had 3 family gatherings this year. Actually it was in the mailbox the day before, but since we had a blizzard and didn't go anywhere (family came to our house for Christmas) nobody checked the mail. I was starting to sweat it because my wife and daughter got theirs the week after Thanksgiving. We mailed all our applications the Monday before Thanksgiving, but mine was the only renewal.

My Disney gifts were "PassPorter's Disney Cruise Line" and "Birnbaum Guides 2011 Disney Cruise Line" books. Wish I read those before since they said to apply for your passport at least 135 days before your cruise instead of 94 days like we did.

Have you recieved your cruise information packet yet? I read that some people got them months ago, but we don't have ours yet.

We got our cruise packet. It was sent from Disney to MEI Mouse Fan Travel, then re-labeled and sent to us.
