I'd say a No Way Jose and a ride on Peter Pan would get you farther in that endeavor. From what I'm reading, not a huge number of people in our group are getting off in Nassau, so the hunt should probably be limited to the ship and Castaway Cay. Oh, add a pic of each type of view to the list. The virtual portholes, real ones, the private balconies; that would move people to mingle and get to know even more people. "Can I get a picture of your private balcony?", "Only if I can get a shot of your virtual porthole.". It sounds odd when typed out like that, but you get the point.

Great ideas! I'll have to remember that line, " Can I get a shot of your virtual porthole?"

That will be great! I say bribe with him with anything food related would be good

If we did the scavenger hunt just on the Nassau day, then we could just hand a sheet with the items to be found (taken a picture of) that day. We could hand out awards at Castaway Cay the next day, like Superlatives. Like "Most likely to Hurt Someone to Get the Picture". Just funny awards that we could make up when we see how everyone plays. I have a feeling Lou will try to get everyone together at Castaway Cay (like for lunch). We could have him announce them.

That is a great idea. I would love to explore that day too so it would work out great!

I'll run all of this by Lou. I don't want to do anything unless he is not completely behind it.

Re: Brainstorming for WDW Radio Disney Dream Cruise

One of the best Disney scavenger hunts we've ever been involved in was back in the old DIS-CON days. What made it challenging and fun was including the cast members, or in this case, the crew members! As it turns out, it's a very simple concept; you don't have to just collect pictures, you collect signatures!
We made so many cast member's day, by just asking them for their autograph. Most of them had never been asked before. What makes it interesting is the category of the people your getting to sign. You could have a whole series of categories, such as:
Crew members with the first name of Walt or Lillian.
Married or related crew members (both on board.)
A crew member with more than 10 years with the company.
A crew member from ______ (insert country here.)
    One of the bridge officers.
A crew member from your home-state.
A member of the entertainment staff.
One of the bartenders (it would help if they could make a wicked martini!)
A rookie crew member (first cruise job.)
One of the photographer, lifeguard, guest relations, child care, cabin stewards, waiters, etc. crew members.
You get the idea; the object is to encourage dialog with the crew/cast member.
(I'll go back to lurking now!)

Beci already has a scavenger layout she uses for the Magicmeets event. It's a page of checkoff boxes with categories kinda like the crew ideas above only more related to that event. (Who has been to Magicmeets before, who are DVC members, etc.) I am absolutely sure that could be edited to match the cruise. That would be the simplest, could be edited to include interaction with the crew and doesn't require a camera.

Just my input for the day...how much longer before you see Lou, Mo?

I like that dzneynut, even better is that they'd probably look at the list and try to help you find others you need. The difficult thing I'm seeing is the sheer number of people in our group who would try to take part. To go through that many pics would be a bit daunting, especially given how much time we have on the cruise. I'm wondering if teams wouldn't be a better option.... I don't know, what do you think?

Don't you dare return to lurking...get back out here James!!! BTW, are you and the wife sailing on this cruise?

I like this idea. It's very simple and gives everyone a chance to really interact with people from various areas of the world!
