I came up with another idea for our cruise while watching the 2009 DCL planning DVD ...which I HIGHLY recommend watching

The Cabana looks like a great place for a large group to hang out. Kinda like a home base. How much do they normally run?

How about an adult scavanger hunt on Castaway Cay???

I love the scavenger hunt idea , but I would definitely want Lou and Beci to plan it.

Like Lori said before, I hope there aren't too many conflicting events. The day of Castaway Cay I could see that being an issue. I don't see them planning too much stuff on Castaway Cay day anyway.

My plan for Castaway Cay is;

parasailing, some sunshine, a long walk and a bar.

Some ideas from my previous cruise;
wear a group logo'd shirt
meet at the port
meet for lunch
meet on a deck above the party before sailaway
meet in a lounge prior to the drill
meet at a stage show
meet for dinner
meet in the clubs
meet for a movie
exchange gifts and/or notes via fish extenders

and that is just the first day!

At Nassau, I am hanging on the ship

at Casataway Cay: see above post

for Pirate Night-dress up and really participate!

at Sea day, I would like to fit in a spa day if I havent by then
I will be at the adult pool
entertainers come to the pool areas

a brunch or dinner at Palo is also on my list
meeting for a meal there would be awesome

When we dock: I will try to stay on property
and have agreed to run my first 5k

I also forgot to add above: a meet at the watercoaster will be planned
which day exactly has yet to be determined.

We had many small gatherings on our cruise.
Different folks went to and arranged different little meets.
It worked out quite well for everyone.


My Admiral Donald artwork is well under way.

I know the Musical Stage Show is a VILLIANS theme.
