Brainstorming for WDW Radio Disney Dream Cruise

Hello, fellow cruisers!! During Marathon Weekend, I was talking to Lou and Beci about ideas for our magical journey on the Disney Dream in Feb 2011. They explained to me that they are planning things for the cruise that will "blow my mind". They were, however, interested in hearing ideas:idea: for our group.

So, I thought it would be fun for us to brainstorm a little.

If we could do anything on the ship as a group (or maybe smaller groups), what would it be?

OR If you could invite anyone in the Disney community to sail with us, who would it be? (imagineers, Disney Legends, celebrities, etc)

How could Lou and Beci make this the best cruise EVER?? You never know your dream could become reality.

...well..... Johnny Depp comes to mind.........

you know I sat in the chair where Johnny sat in the Presid. Suite at Grand Californian.......

Seriously, a group dinner at Palo?
some kind of get together at one of the club...maybe Lou will sing for us ;)
special time to ride the Aqua Duck?

I hear Lee Cockrell is an amazing speaker...

Captain Jack Sparrow (the original would be awesome)

any artist, sculptor, imagineer or legend would be all good for meh ;)

And I stood about 10 feet from the actual man, Johnny Depp, at Walt Disney Studios presentation at D23 Expo. I would have preferred to have been a little closer, lol. I think I floated around the Expo the rest of the day!!!

I agree with all Colleen that anyone would be wonderful to hear how they create or come up with their ideas. Share how they came to be with Disney or if they met Walt!

Here were some of the ideas I had:

1) John Lasseter as a featured speaker. Ok, I didn't say you couldn't dream big.
2) Any of the Disney Legends!!!! (Charlie Ridgeway, X Atencio, etc)
3) Imagineers!!!!
4) Group Palo lunch or brunch (which we all couldn't fit at the same time)
5) Para-sailing (sp?) Meet
6) Private Castaway Cay Beach Party for our group
7) Group BINGO
8) Goofy Put-Put Tournament

I'm going to keep on thinking.

My ideas are similar to whats already posted:
Group meal at Palo
Imagineers (current or retired - how cool would Marty Sklar be?)
Maybe a special group excursion in Nassau
Private tour of the ship

Well one thing I would love to do is group deck photos! As well as have a giant WDW Radio photo with characters!

Put Put tournament for the Dream Team and have a childs division for Cassidy to kick some butt. :lol:

how about even just a specific location for our group to gather for the Pirate Party. Bon Voyage... etc....so we know ahead of time...

WE NEED A WDW RADIO/MEI newsletter!!! could be sent out with our cruise packets from our agents...

How about a sunrise(6 am?) WDW Radio group jog. Led by MoJo of course.
