Pre-cruise lunch at Via Napoli

Okay, I know this update is way long overdue and I have some good and bad to announce. :( Due to some complications we won't be able to make one big mass ressie for Via Napoli. Due to Disney Dining getting wonky at one point it only allowed the 3 ressies we have to have 8 ppl on each one. What we're going to have to do is use the 3 ressies we have and break into groups of 8. What we'll also need is for people to bring cash for their order and the tips as breaking it into a bunch of seperate checks apparently can't be done. I was literally told the only way to be able to pay seperate is to go quick service. We're only going to be able to have the first 19 who signed up allowing also for Lou to join. I am so extremely sorry it's having to go this way and I hate to leave ppl out. I'm just trying to work within the constraints I'm given. I really truly am sorry it's gone sideways like this.
You can find the menu with pricing at http://allears.net/menu/menu_vianap.htm to get an idea of how much to bring. Doug has given up his spots so others can go. Julie also made new plans to include her mom. Still trying to find out if Lou will be alone for this lunch or if it will be the family.
Meet to the left of the entrance to Via Napoli at about 12:15.
Marc Lorenzo has another reservation at 11:30 on Saturday at Via Napoli if others wanna get in on it and eat slow. :)

My wife and I would love to join everyone provide we get an early morning flight and can be at the park in time. I'll let you no for sure in a day or 2. You can always do what Len Testa does, make a reservation for 4 and then ask if they can accommodate 25. lol

I was in the Box earlier and somebody mentioned splitting the group up and having myself and another person book for the same time. Basically, break us into 2 groups of like 10 or so each and try to get the same time. I like the idea, but I'm worried the times wouldn't coincide and we wouldn't get to all eat together. Sent Beci a tweet but I haven't gotten a response yet. Not sure how to book an ADR for a large group, never done it. Anybody have suggestions?

Nolan ....you can only book up to 8 people on line...when you call if you have more than 10 people in your party they will ask you to speak directly to someone at Via Napoli...had to go through this for a Dec ADR...so it can be done for a large group under one persons name, but i will gladly help out if needed :yahoo:

Right now we have 23, I'm thinking I'll try to book one big party. If we have to we can split the group up and shoot for the same time. If we can only book 8 per party online then we'll have to split into 3 groups. Lemme try to get the one big party and we can go from there. Early on Beci said it shouldn't be difficult to get the reservation.... :worried:

Wow 23 yay fun! I have been to a wedding of 50 that I can remember it worked out great the made the tables into a U so we were all together! I don't see this for us but will be interesting how they accommodate the party!

Muy Importante!!! I need to get exact ages on partygoers between the ages of Infant to 17. I'm gonna call back this afternoon to the restaurant and try to get a party of 25 booked. We have 23 right now.
