My List of Cruise Questions...
what does the cost of the cruise include?
how many meals a day are in this cost (if they are included)?
how much money should a person (or a couple) bring with them (or have at their disposal) when going on a disney cruise? feel free to break it down into categories like food, drink, activities, souvenirs.
how much $ is the spa on the cruise ship?
okay... so yes all my questions are financial... but if i am even going to THINK about planning a vacation, i need to know all the different costs involved. the only things i even know for sure at this moment is airfare and the dollar amount shown on the booking page online.

allears.net has a comprehensive area that will answer most of your questions. But here are a couple of answers based on my experience.
The cruise is all inclusive. The difference in cost is strictly based on your cabin type. Everything else is the same for everyone. All your meals are included. B, L, D, plus multiple snack bars, plus late night buffets. You can also order room service free of charge. You can more or less eat 24 hours a day. Plus, at the sit down restaurants, if you mention that you can't decide between two entrees, the waiter will probably bring you both. At least that was our experience. The old saying is, "come on as passengers, go off as cargo." DCL also provides your non-alcoholic drinks free at all meals. There is also a soda fountain area on the upper deck that is free, 24 hours a day I think.
I think all the children area activities are free also. We didn't have any kids in the lower age group, so we didn't find out the particulars.
How much money you need is up to you. Do you plan on buying lots of souvenirs? Do you plan on doing any shore excursions (different costs for different ones)? Do you plan on visiting the bars on the ship? My last (and only) 7 night Disney cruise, a guy had a bar bill of over $2000. Do you like to have specialty coffees multiple times a day? Do you plan on going to the spa? If you are on a budget, then just spend what you can afford. On our cruise, we did one spa treatment, we went on one shore excursion, we bought limited souvenirs, and we bought no alcohol.
Luckily there isn't a casino on the ship, so you can't be tempted with that. They do have bingo, which you have to pay for.
You do have to plan for the tips for the wait staff and your cabin attendant. DCL or your travel agent will provide you the "suggested" amounts.

Re: My List of Cruise Questions...
I'm going to eat sooooo much food hehe. I have the second seating for dinner which is at 8:30, and I'm used to eating around 5pm so I'm going to have to have lots of snacks or some sort of "second lunch". The only food you need to pay for is if you go to one of the adult's only restaurants, which is entirely optional.
And we're not bringing that much money- a bit for tips but you do the tip at the end of the week for the servers all in one go, and they let you charge it to your room card so we're just doing that. If you buy an alcoholic drink part of the cost included is your tip, so really just for room service and people helping with our bags. Any souvenirs we're going to charge to our credit card/room card... in fact pretty much everything can be charged to your room card so you really don't need to bring much cash if you don't want to.

whew... gosh it would be so nice to plan a vacation without having to worry about how much money you need each day for food.

The answer is NONE
Your food is included in the price of your fare. You'd need to bring money for tips and souvenirs. If you drink alcohol, you'll have to pay for it, but non alcoholic drinks are free.
DCL is also the only cruiseline that allows you to bring your own alcohol with you.
