I did! Saw it last Thursday night at midnight, in 3D! I loved it! I still think #1 is the best one, but this one certainly ranks close to it.

Lisa and I saw it Sunday afternoon with DD Cathleen (home from college). I agree - #1 was best. This was good - gotta luv Captain Jack. But it dragged a little though, IMHO.

Last day of school tomorrow. I'm hoping most of the kids stay home - unfortunately the bad ones will be at school because the parents don't won't them home yet.

Friday is a teacher workday, then heading to WDW on Sunday with DD. Looks like it will be HOT! Can't wait for the Keys to the Kingdom tour.

If I think about it I'll post while I'm down there.

I do agree...parts of it did drag. It was "dark" too...just visually a lot of times...I couldnt wait for the "light" parts. Anyone else feel this way?

I have been hearing there may be 2 more POTC movies coming in the next few years!! What does anyone think of that? I love Cpt. Jack but it seems like this is enough.

As much as I love looking at Jack I really don't want anymore movies. If they make them I will go see them but enough is enough. It's like the Friday 13th movies. You only need a few to get it.

Maybe they should start a book series instead if people insist on knowing more about his adventures. I would read those.

We dressed as pirates and went on Friday and then we saw it in IMAX 3D on Sunday. So cool but I think just 3D would've been just fine. Sometimes IMAX is weird.

Well I read that they have the script for #5 written and Johnny Depp wants to do more but he wants to wait a bit more between films. I guess his body took a beating filming the first three so close to one another. I love the movies and wouldn't mind seeing more as long as they keep the quality the same, however I like the book idea too as long as they got Johnny to be on the covers

Hi!!

I was supposed to be a Deck 7 Cool Kid last cruise but we had to cancel due to an illness with my mother in law.

We are booked for 2.0 but we went up to Deck 6. I booked a deluxe room. We're going to be sailing on my birthday so I thought maybe we'd make it a little more special. We'll be docking at Castaway Cay for my birthday. This is going to be the best way to spend my birthday. Not sure anything else will top it!!

I hope to meet many of you and maybe be a honorary "Cool Kid".

Welcome from one honorary to another. We are also on deck 6, but I am concerned I won't be able to come due to lack of personal days... I will have to wait and see. The first cruise was amazing. I really hope I can go....aah..such is the life of a teacher...

Anyone doing anything fun over the summer?? In 55 days I will be at WDW!! In the meantime just keeping busy with going to the gym, running DD4 around to day camp/soccer/dance class. Gonna visit a few museums with her and the zoo next month! Gotta prep walking for Disney!
