Disney Dream Cabins next to elevators
We are looking into getting a cabin right across from the elevators on Deck 9 on the Disney Dream. Has anyone had a cabin this close to the elevators before and if so was there a lot of noise from the elevator and/or people?
Are the inside staterooms as nice as the ocean view port hole rooms?

Re: Disney Dream Cabins next to elevators
There is usually noise at any place (ship, hotel, etc) next to an elevator. People are up and out at all hours of the night, so they are always coming and going. Inside rooms are usually more like a hotel room, as there is no 'view'. I don't think the size is imacted, though.
Re: Disney Dream Cabins next to elevators
I've read many reports that people didn't have any problems with noise being next to elevators. I'll have some first-hand experience in a few weeks when I go on the Fantasy, as my cabin is outside the aft elevator lobby.

Yes please let me know how it is. What deck will you be on and which cabin so I can see how close it is to the elevators on the Fantasy? Thanks and have a great trip! :-D

I just got home and had no problems with any noise being next to the elevators. Had a fantastic time!

Thank you for letting me know.
I am sure the trip was amazing.
Did you go to any of the fancier restaurants like Remi?
Re: Disney Dream Cabins next to elevators
No, I didn't go to Remy or Palo, but I did take a ship tour that started in Meridian, went through Palo/Remy, Europa, and ending in the atrium. I'm writing up a TR to post on disboards, but you can see my photos here.
