Poll: How Much Time Do You Spend Planning Your Disney World Vacation?

... You can see from my signature when we are next going to WDW!!! (We actually booked it in March!!)

But before that - we are planning to go to DLP next May!! We've never been before and thought we would check it out - after some promting from Bobby!!!!

It certainly will be a Disney Holiday Year!!!

WE GO ANY CHANCE WE GET AND SOMETIMES WE JUST UP AND GO CAUSE WE FEEL LIKE IT 2.5 HOUR DRIVE ONE WAY.OTHERWISE WE PLAN 3MONTHS IN ADVANCE DEPENDING WHAT IS GOING ON.

We will be going to Disney World in June 2006, however we have already booked plane, hotel, car and gotten tickets for 3 adults 2 children for 7 days with park hopper. c'mon already time to go....

We are usually planning the next trip when we are there. In November we were on the phone making our reservations for January. (We just got back!) While we were there we were making plans for late May! We will probably plan a trip for October while we are there in May!

Honestly, I start to plan our next trip the moment we turn off US 192 onto World Drive!!!

In the old days 3-4 months was the norm. Now, since we are APs we plan about 6 months out.

Our first trip to WDW was a year. Our recent trip to DLR was about three to four months. Now our up coming trip to WDW will be two years. (December 2007). A lot of it has to do with having the money for the trip.

i am going to WDW in jully 6 for 4 days in to dinsey room in a dinsey hotel which mean s i get to stich hat srry may be a litte of topic carefull hide your cookie my cat loves! to eat them

It takes a year or longer to get the money together to come over......................especially as we try to always have 3 weeks so we can fit in everything & visit the parks 3/4 times each.......but half the fun is the planning & looking forward to it

I don't know how long my parents planned when I've been with them.

When I've taken my dance teams to perform at MK I've planned for a year. This is to give the girls enough time to raise money. This also allows our travel agent enough time to book all our flights and big blocks of rooms.

I'll be planing for almost a year and half for the next trip we are taking. It's 4 girl friends going for the F&W Festival. We have already started saving money and want this to be the best trip ever. We probably won't book until 3-4 months out though.

I start to plan the next trip as I am boarding the monorail to leave. Since we are now going about every 12 months, it works out to be a year in advance. NOTE: 72 days...and yes I'm couning!

We got back the end of May this year. I started checking resorts while I was still down there. I'm going with a bigger group next year, so planning is different. Planning is half the fun!

I totally agree!! I get so excited looking up restaurants to eat at and new activities to do.

Planning is the only way to not go insane waiting for your next Disney trip!
I can't tell you how many times I've re-read all my Disney guide books.:mickey:
