I enjoyed reading about your running experiences. You definitely captured the feeling of the race. I have run some local races but they never match the feeling of running at WDW. Good luck on your training for the 2013 marathon.

Thanks, Grumpy! I definitely agree: Disney races are one of a kind. Congrats on your Goofy! I'm hoping to get that medal, maybe in 2014. Any training tips for that?
Have you done other marathons? I'm wondering how some of the other big ones are... Though 26.2 still seems like an eternity to me!

I have not done any marathons other than Disney. I hope to do New York some day, maybe in 2014. I have never even run a marathon without running a half marathon the day before. I should see how that is some day but for now I'm looking forward to my fifth Goofy in a row in 2013. I'm sure that I can come up with a list of everything I've done wrong over the years that may help you.

Wow. That's so cool. I can't even imagine; I like to spend my day after the race laying around, poolside if possible, doing as little as I can. But, the Goofy seems like a great challenge to push for. :P
