On Sunday July 15 at HersheyPark there are two free concerts, one at 4:30 and 7:30 in the Amphitheatre (inside the park, so you need admission to see it).
This weeks band is Starship starring Mickey Thomas.

A little hint for anyone who doesn't go to the park very often. If you are looking to hit the waterslides, hit them first as the lines build quickly.The new waterpark is very popular and gets crowded quickly.

Also, Storm runner, Comet and Great Bear are the coasters that line up early.

Did anyone happen to see that family walking around with the matching Hershey Kiss/ Mickey Ears T-shirts? **VIX waves HI! LOL YEP, that was us. We got compliments every 10 steps or so on them, and even had a few ppl offering money to make them one. DANG! I could have made a fortune if I wasnt afraid of being sued by both Disney and Hershey.

What did you all think about it compared to WDW? I thot it was relatively clean and most of the staff pretty nice, but sooooooooo tiring because of the layout and hills. Even a few of the locals I spoke to admitted that if there is a space of any sort they stuff a ride there as long as they can plug it in. I didnt ride much, Donnie and the little one are the daredevils around here. They had a blast and Meghyn is apparantly FEARLESS. If she would have been tall enuf I think she would have had no problem hitting the looping, faster coasters. (not that I would let her yet, she is only 4 yrs old)

I didnt see anyone I knew but met a few folk that had on some Magic Meet shirts. They loved the shirts and took pics and insisted I come with to meet the infamous Fred. We met the Passporter folk and a lovely couple from Boston HI Ruth and Hubby (**sheepish grin--sorry forgot your name) Wish we could have spent more time with you. Wish we could have let y;all know we were coming ahead of time but we werent sure definatley till Friday. Maybe in December at Mousefest if we stay enuf days

Amanda and I weren't able to go to Hershey, we had a previous engagment we had to attend to on Sunday afternoon, but both of us had a wonderful time at MagicMeets... we a few people from the board infact... Colin, I think we sat next to eachother at registration you did a great job.

The Storm Runner riders had a great time! I even splurged on a "not so attractive" looking picture of myself with my niece. Lori's is so much more attractive!!! Actually, I showed a friend at a church meeting last night and she joingly asked if I wanted it added to the Powerpoint collection at church. I said sure! She asked, "Really?" I told her sure! She is a WDW lover, too, who understands what it is to enjoy the company of fellow Disney lovers. And my picture shows what it means to be really alive and have fun!
