Who Is going to TOT 13k???

I am looking to find out who all here is going to be at the Tower of terror 13k?

I am, and I know that gooftroop3 is anyone else??

I'll be there to run in the 13K. Sounds like a lot of people are going. I think we have the MDP podcast crew and the WDWToday crew also. It should be great fun. But no Lou.

Can't wait. Should be a great way to train for the 1/2M in January 2008.

Yep, myself and the other WDW Today podcasters will be at the race.

I ended up being able to do the 6.5K at the last minute and it was a blast! The packet pick up at Downtown Disney was cool. They had all of the lights out with just black lights on. We all got glow in the dark Tower of Terror Tshirts, bracelets, even our bib numbers and medals glow in the dark! Very unusual souveniers! At the start of the race they had a fog machine and they were playing Tower of Terror music. It was neat to see all of the original costumes that people wore. The night race was fun, even though they had to start 20 minutes late because of traffic (I heard). The mile markers had skulls on them with the TOT logo and were lit up. After the race we were able to stay in MGM until 1:00am. The open rides were TOT, Rock & Roller Coaster, Great Movie Ride, and Star Tours. I went on everything except ST. The wait was not more than 20 minutes. They gave out really cool trophies for people who won their age division. There was also a band playing in front of the hat, and a DJ over by TOT. Oh, they also had booths set up to sell Beer/Wine. I have never seen that before! The night was fun, and I would do this event again.

I did the 13k. It was fun.I was disappointed that there was no character stops. It got boring out in the wide world of sports. But it was cool cause I have never been in there before. I didn't run I walked and my time was 2:14:27. My son ran it in 1:41:17, my daughter ran it in 1:53:59.

By the time we made it to the finish line I was seeing double. But it was a great experience!!

I will do it again!!!

DD ran the 6.5K. I haven't talked to her yet to see how she did. The t-shirts sound awesome. In fact, the whole things sounds like a blast.
