I registered just because I like having the lanyard and name badge. Lots of people don't but I figure if my $20 can help cut costs then why not. It's better than paying $50.

No you dont have to register.

Yes the perks you get are the pins and lanyard. There are two meets just for reg. supporters. You get into Mega Meet an hour before It's open to non-supporters. Plus you helping to make sure it well be here next year.

I have not made a reservation yet. I am thinking about staying with family. They live REALLY close to The Magic Kingdom. It is free and I figured that I am only there to sleep during Mousefest because it is such a busy schedule, right? Will I be sorry that I am not staying on property for mousefest?

I read on another forum that the WDW reservation system may be reporting that there are no rooms for that weekend -- aside from villas. Anyone else heard this?

IF this is the case -- it sounds like Mousefest will be VERY busy this year!

Oh, I'm already booked. Actually, I was booked before the dates for Mousefest08 were announced. It's dumb luck that my last day is the 13th!

I was told several weeks ago that I got the last room at AS movies and all that was left was Riverside and Beach Club at that point.

I can certainly believe that villas are all that is left.

Wow, it certainly does appear that WDW will be quite crowded for MouseFest.

Marc (Disney Marc).............Pop Century.................Land Only......Dec. 10th-15th

Hope to meet many of you at Mousefest. We should organize a Pop Century Meet or at least do some carpooling to some of the meets from there. Thanks

I wonder if the fact that MouseFest is a week closer to Christmas this year is impacting the availability of rooms

Good point, it may very well be.

On a side, the MouseFest Schedule of Events is finally up (yay!) and I don't see a single DWT meet listed Will meets continue to be added over the next couple of months? I definitely need to attend MouseFest 101
