Well A- Its sold out B- Bad dates,

But my parents are considering going out there for Magic Meets.

Tacey, due to busy summers, any idea when the dates will be released for Magic Meets 2010.

I was bummed not to get into the Magic Before the Meet. When I got my email- six hours after it was sent- it was already sold out :-(

the dates should be released for 2010 at the end of this years event

Hey, you scrapbook lovers… here’s a little reminder for you. On Saturday night at MagicMeets 2009, after the main event has come to a close, it’s your time to shine!

The FREE Saturday Night Scrap Event, hosted by Scrapping the Magic, will take place on August 8, from 8 p.m. until midnight. Please join us on Saturday night for some exciting scrapbooking fun. It is open to all MagicMeets attendees. Bring your supplies and have four hours of crop time! Or bring your finished projects to share with others!
Throughout the evening there will also be some workshops, a make ‘n’ take, product demos, and some time to just mix and mingle with your fellow Disney scrappers. Oh, and of course, there are lots of prizes to be handed out!*
Guests may stay for as little or as much of the event as they would like.

The schedule is as follows:
• 8:00 – 8:30 Mix & Mingle – Show off your work, mingle with other Disney scrappers, and meet the hosts.
• 8:30 – 9:00 Getting Started – Learn how to get started scrapping your Disney memories and get your questions answered.
• 9:00 – 9:30 Digital Scrapbooking – An overview into the world of Digital Scrapbooking and a demo on Photoshop Elements.
• 9:30 – 10:00 Make and Take – Create a fun little item to show off a vacation memory.
• 10:00 – 10:30 Product Demonstrations – Learn how to use some of the more popular scrapbooking tools on the market.
• 10:30 – Midnight – Spend the rest of the evening mingling, playing with some of the tools that were demoed, and maybe make a few cards or tags at a crafter buffet!

Please contact janet@scrappingthemagic.com for more information and to register for this event. Children are welcome to accompany their parents. As an added bonus, all those who register before Aug. 4 will receive an extra ticket to win a door prize! Registration also guarantees you a Make ‘n’ Take as they are on a first-come, first-served basis and quantities will be limited. Also, there will be no food allowed at the scrap event, so please plan accordingly. Drinks will be allowed, however they must be in a container with a lid.
