Adventurers club/everest

I have been seeing references to the Adventurers Club as a group or event of some type on the forums recently and in relation, some mention of an event at Everest. I have been a die hard Disney fan/visitor since birth and am just now hearing of this in relation to anything other than the club itself.What is this gathering and can anyone get involved? If Ive read correctly it is at the end of september which is when we will be there. I am familiar with the story behind the Adventurers Club but sadly I just turned 21 right after they shut it down last year. It had been the one club I was always interested in going to so I had read up on the story when I was younger. I would really love to get into this event to get a taste of it.

The event has been sold out for awhile now

While the Adventurer's Club portion has been sold out for awhile now, there is still a full weekend of events for everyone to have fun and meet up at! It is sounding like quite a few people are going to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on Friday night, and the Expedition Everest Challenge on Saturday evening will be a lot of fun. Lou has another thread,here, asking who is signing up for this event. Both are separate ticketed events.
As for the Adventurer's Club, the event filled up pretty quickly, so they took names for the waiting list. On one of Lou's last live webcasts, he told us that they has to stop taking names for the waiting list since none of the original ticket purchasers have canceled. However, they other two events are still wide open. Come join up with us for these, and help add to the fun!

with a special event show, the clubs provide(d) a meal and a show with characters of the club. It is hard to explain the Adventurer's club. There are some videos on youtube that show the antics.
