I started a discussion on the MagicMeets Facebook page for Newbies like me to MagicMeets to ask questions that some of you seasoned magicmeeters might be able to answer or give insight to. So, we would really appreciate any input you could give to that end. Thanks!!

Questions range from 'What time should I get in line to register Saturday morning if I'm not staying at the hotel?' to 'Do you have to wait in line if you ARE staying at the hotel?' As well as any other Tips you can give. We are in need of sort of a 'panel' of seasoned folks who can answer these kinds of questions.

I don't have a facebook account, so forgive me if I cannot reply there.

Here's a quick primer:
If you are staying at the Raddision, the ONLY way to bypass the registration line is to attend the Meet Before the Magic (MBTM) event. These people will register for Saturday, get their lunch wristbands, etc. and will line up separately.
If you are not attending MBTM, people start lining up around 8am in the registration line.
As you enter the ballroom, my suggestion is to head for a table with your friends and snag a seat. You will have time to mingle before the opening remarks.

Don't forget to print the schedule and map from the Magic Meets site and study ot before you get there. It is mostly clear.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. I'll be leaving for the Radission on thursday morning.

On thing I would suggest, bring a sweater, sweatshirt or something else. It gets very cold in the ballroom.
