Destination D Meet
Hi There!
So, I've been a lurker on these forums for some time, but never had the courage to post (until now!). But wanted to come on and say 'hi' as I was curious as to who is going to Destination D at Disneyland in September? I just bought my tickets tonight and I'm travelling over from the UK especially for the event- I know Lou is planning on doing some kind of get-together and I'm hoping to come along, although I'm a little shy as I am travelling solo so won't know anybody!
Would love to meet few attendees online before making my way out to Anaheim on my solo adventure!

Welcome to the boards, Cara. I haven't been to Disneyland in about 15 years now, and I keep promising myself I'm going to get back out there. This Meet would have been an ideal opportunity to look into it, but I had no idea it was taking place. So now I've got my solo trip to WDW set instead. Again, welcome!
Really, Walt? Disneyland is MY land? Why would I want a silly little land when I can have the WORLD.

im in the same boat... except ive never been to Disneyland... i keep saying it is time but maybe in a few years... when they finish Carsland and all the other construction... WDW is one thing with construction... but i cant see myself going to Disneyland for the first time and seeing a load of construction... i think i can hold out until they complete the major work...Originally Posted by supernova
