Wish I could make it, however I will not be there till the next weekend.
I just had a flashback to Super Mario Bros. "I'm sorry Mario, but the Princess is in another castle!"

Re: Epcot Food and Wine Festival Walkabout 2010
We'll be there!
We have a Via Napoli ADR for 7:45, so we will not indulge too much....I hope!
I will also be running in my 1st Half Marathon the next night. (which I decided to sign up for during the 24hr meet when we were down in August) I plan on picking up my race packet after leaving the Royal Pacific @ Universal on our way to check in at the Poly. Then monorail over to the walkabout!

Re: Epcot Food and Wine Festival Walkabout 2010
Too bad we won't be there yet! Any idea where the meet of the month is for October?
Re: Epcot Food and Wine Festival Walkabout 2010
Hey I'll be there. It's going on the spread sheet. I've gone over the 2010 menu and picked out my must-try's. I've got about 16 items tagged. There's no way I can eat it all and I'm traveling solo. I leave the next day so this is my only day and I'm devoting it to F&WF.
How does this all work? Is there plenty of time to purchase and sample as we hit each booth? How much $ should I alot? Wondering if I should sample a few things before the meet.

I would try a few things before hand. That way you have room to eat with everyone. The best thing to do is to purchase one of their special F&W gift cards. It's small and goes around your wrist. I loved mine last year.
The amount depends on you. F&W can become very expensive. I believe items range from $3 and up. The Fishermans pie from Ireland is awesome and the lava cake!!
See you there!!

I will be there. I'll be running the Wine and Dine 1/2 the next day so this will be a good chance to unwind before race day.
Re: Epcot Food and Wine Festival Walkabout 2010
Recently at the end of a podcast, Lou said the meet might be Saturday Oct 2...anyword on that?
(I am hoping! That's the day we get it!! LOL)

Any word on where we meet? I'm about 10 days from my trip and would like to finalize the old spreadsheet
