I'm moving back!

After almost 3 years away, I'm moving back! We're having a home built in Independence and it will be ready in May. I should be at the meets by June!

Must be nice! Its gonna be a few years before me and DW can head further south, hopefully somewhere in the subshine state. Gotta let DD get through school first.

Congratulations! I envy you. We will wind up in FLA. With luck, in the next 5 to 8 years.

Well, it was sort of bad luck that got DH to move back, but still. His contract got cut from 30 hrs a week to 20, and at that rate we can't afford the mortgage here. Since he works from home, but at DC payrates, we can afford the mortgage there (the house we're buying is half what this one costs, but about the same size). Once the twins start kindergarden, I can look for a job, and I think I'll have a better chance in Florida (I'm fluent in Spanish and have a library degree) than here, even if I have to start by volunteering in a public or school library. I'm now saving $ to buy the Disney passes, although we may have to wait till this house sells.
