Anyone a regular at Lou's Meet of the Month?

We're hoping to move to central FL in a few months (assuming everything goes well with house purchase) and I thought it will be so great to finally be close enough to make it to some of these and meet other Disney fans.... especially since we don't know many people in the area.

I would be a regular meeter if I were there! But the commute from Texas is a tad long.

Awe, you're going to really miss Six Flags Great America when all you have in return is Walt Disney World. Now wasn't that blizzard last February enough to endear you to Illinois winters.

Im not a regular yet but I hope to be soon as Im in the same boat as you. Ive lived not far from you (Rolling Meadows, IL) my whole life but Im moving with my family to The Villages, FL next month - 55 miles to Disney!

Im in the same boat! Im moving with my parents (theyre retiring and Im looking for a change) from Rolling Meadows to The Villages. All those articles talking about how this winter is going to be our worst one in a long time...see ya! We drive down on Sunday...and then we come back for Thanksgiving...and then we come back for Christmas...and then its official!

Im from Chicagoland too! Moved to South Carolina years ago. Dont miss those winterd one bit. I must say though, I'm ready to move further south to Florida.....
